This week’s Spotlight playlist is here to give you a jump start to the summer weeks ahead. Since finals and school is over for most students, it’s time to party and enjoy the free time you have with family and friends. Add these tracks to any BBQ, beach time, late night outings for maximizing your potential aural experience. Be sure to check out the tracks below and support each artist by visiting their respective social media outlets.
This week’s Spotlight playlist features many tracks that highlight progressive house, dubstep, other electronic music, Carmack-influenced trap and hip hop, future bass and many other genres. Specifically, Diplo and Grandtheft team up once again for one of the best remixes of Rihanna’s Bitch Better Have My Money. Although there are mixed reactions to this remix, I honestly think the instrumentation and atmosphere was better than the other remixes out there. Check out the playlist below and be sure to support the artists by visiting their respective social media outlets.
After a busy week, we are back with a weekly playlists. Sorry for the delay but all the playlists are going to be posted in a more incremental manner in the future. With that being said, here is the past week’s collection of tracks that stood out among the pack. Mark Johns, of the Moving Castle collective, brings another jem that was produced by NYC’s very-own Sweater Beats. The track All Day is basically Mark Johns’ take or cover of Kanye West’s latest single of his yet-to-be released album. Check out this track and many others in the playlist below and be sure to support each artist by visiting their respective social outlets.
