[Featured] Moving Castle Vol. 4, Soulection’s Love is King & Too Lush Vol. 3

This is the first of many featured posts that will focus on a collection of songs under one playlist. The main focus of this blog is to introduce genres and sounds that are not relatively known. Furthermore, these are compilations that should be your go-to source to dabble in the world of future bass and several other hybrid genres that are showcased.

First, Moving Castle Volume 4 features collaboration-heavy and future bass tracks. Future bass is the combination of hip hop and trap drum kits coupled with synths and melodic sequences that are atmospherically-enhanced to create a stadium ambiance through your headphones Since this genre is always evolving and growing, there are variations to this sound (ex. Cashmere Cat, Lido, Wave Racer, & Flume). Two of my personal favorites are We Bout It by Vices, Jailo, BrassTracks & K.B. Starr and Diamonds for Breakfast by AOBeats, Jai Wolf, Manila Killa & Mark Johns. The whole compilation is solid all the way through so be sure to check it out below and download.

Second, Soulection’s Love is King Compilation celebrates 200K followers on its Soundcloud page. Featuring a mix of ambient, downtempo, trippy samples, heavy drum kits and trap elements, this compilation is your go to study or work playlist. Oshi, critically-acclaimed as the next Mr. Carmack, packs a punch in a limited amount of time. On the other hand, Lakim and Esta go the mellowed-out route this time around with their respective house and jersey club influenced tracks. Check out the compilation below and download.

Lastly, Too Lush released their Volume 3 collection of tracks that are ready-made for a 3 AM jam session or a late-night drive. Featuring 1/2 of Hydrabadd from Moving Castle, Catt Moop slays this remix of T-Pain & Lil Wayne’s Can’t Believe It. VAPERROR’s Bloom is heavily-influenced by chiptune and its Wave Racer-esque vibe. CHLO’s Gangsta Luv features the combination of future bass, juke and jersey club. The rest of the compilation features future bass, jersey-club, juke, and various other genres that makes this playlist unique. Be sure to jam out below and download.
